Ryan Adams Throws Shade At The Strokes On Twitter

According to the book, which chronicles the NY rock scene just after the turn of the century, the members of the Strokes once held a meeting and chose to ban Adams from associating with them as they thought that Ryan was too influential over Albert Hammond, Jr. who was having a problem with drugs. Is Julian Casablancas just going solo now?

Hammond continued: "I hadn't really been doing it in baggie form until Ryan showed up".

Representatives for Adams declined to comment on the tweets, and reps for Hammond and Casablancas did not immediately respond to request for comment.

Michigan Gets Commitment From 4-Star Linebacker Cam McGrone
Scout.com ranks McGrone (6-1, 215) the No. 1 outside linebacker in Indiana , No. 4 in the Midwest and No. 23 nationally for 2018. With the commitment of McGrone, Michigan football now has 12 players in its 2018 class, with nine of them four stars or better.

Adams appears in the book and does get a chance at a rebuttal, making the timing of his malicious tweets seem all the more unusual.

Read Adams' tweets (some of which contain profanity) below.

Casablancas reportedly said, "Did I specifically tell Ryan to stay away from Albert? I'd been wanting to do heroin since I was 14 years old". It can take a person's soul away.

Major South Carolina Nuclear Project Goes Under
Santee Cooper and majority partner South Carolina Electric & Gas Co. gave Westinghouse full notice to proceed in April 2012. Clements says his group will ask state regulators to reduce rates so consumers don't have to pay for the failed project.

Unfortunately for fans of The Strokes, it appears he may have been speaking prematurely.

Later, when Adams was called out by a Twitter user who said, "Imagine attacking Julian fucking Casablancas when your only notable musical contribution is covering a Taylor Swift album", he responded with, "I sold more t shirts last night than people who actually made it thru a single Voidz song, bro", referencing Julian Casablancas' side project The Voidz, before adding, "What's he gonna do?"

In Meet Me in the Bathroom, Adams admitted he felt scapegoated by the band for Hammond Jr.'s addiction issues. "I loved him so deeply". Adams has denied the claims. I remember being incredibly anxious about him, even after I continued to do speedballs. Or maybe he saw that the Killers were asked about their rivalry with the Strokes on Tuesday (though Adams wasn't mentioned), and just wanted in on the festivities.
