Following the game, Ebron had some complimentary words for Collins' performance. "I was pissed off at that little punk of a safety that got over there".

"Collins, he played a good game, that hit just [expletive] me off and I didn't feel like celebrating", Ebron said.

"I just told him good hit", Ebron said with a smile.

Collins delivered a big hit on Ebron early in the game, but the Lions tight end scored a touchdown in the second quarter, tossing the ball into the air in lieu of a celebration, which coincidentally hit Collins.

"Be a bully... Still zero catches on me between those lines", he wrote above a tweet with a link to the story. "The honey badger was better", he added, referring to the college nickname of the Cardinals' Tyrann Mathieu, who was a finalist for the Heisman Trophy as a cornerback while at LSU before Arizona drafted him in the third round in 2013.

But Collins says Ebron is the one who got punked. But Collins wasn't belaboring the semantics. "If I see and I can hit you and square you up that's what you're going to get and that's what he got". "This is football...#lockdown".

Davis Cup: Spain to host Great Britain
The pick of the other first-round clashes is the one between five-times Davis Cup champions Spain who will host 2015 victor and 10-time champions Great Britain.

Now in his fourth year, expectations are high for Ebron.

Perhaps no Detroit Lions player has more untapped potential, both in terms of raw ability and production within the system, than tight end Eric Ebron.

To be fair, Ebron did offer praise to the safety, saying he played a "good game". "I wasn't in that kind of joyful mood". He played his butt off trying to guard me.

Instead of flawless pitch, though, it was a run up the middle by Theo Riddick for eight yards. There was a surprise in store for Monday regarding the two, thanks to Stafford himself.
