Jonathan Ashworth says Labour's antisemites 'must be expelled'

Jonathan Ashworth spoke as Labour again found itself at the centre of a row over allegations of anti-Semitism, which threatened to overshadow the party's agenda at its conference in Brighton, as reported by Jewish News.

According to reports the fringe entitled "Free Speech on Israel" heard demands that the Jewish Labour Movement and Labour friends of Israel were "kicked out" of the party.

He added: "If any of those people who are named, are making these statements, they shouldn't be in the Labour Party". "They should be expelled".

Atletico Madrid have agreed a deal with Chelsea to sign Diego Costa
Chelsea pay a visit to Atletico Madrid on Wednesday evening in the second leg of their Champions League group stage campaign. As reported by the club's official website , Morata said: "Alvaro performed very well".

He said Labour's conference organising committee would investigate how Peled had been given a seat on a panel at the event.

"And should he now be a lot tougher on these fringe elements that are attaching themselves to your party and bringing you such vile headlines on a day when I'm sure you've got much more important things that you would like to talk about?"

He added: "The Jewish Labour Movement has always been involved in the party for donkey's years and they should remain in the party for years to come as well".

Russian Federation posts air strike videos after accusations of civilian deaths
More than 330,000 people have been killed in Syria since the conflict began in March 2011 with anti-government protests. The deal excludes jihadists, but is meant to otherwise halt fighting in the agreed areas.

Mr Ashworth said Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn, who has faced criticism from some for allegedly not doing enough about anti-Semitism in the party, supported his calls to expel members.

"The Holocaust Education Trust suggested in the two years since Jeremy Corbyn was elected leader there was - their words - a fertile ground for people like this to express such views".

"If they're getting involved in the Labour Party, we want them out and the Holocaust Educational Society are right to call this out and if we've got any evidence that Labour Party members are denying the Holocaust or using anti-Semitism in their politics, then there is no role for them".

Also speaking to Good Morning Britain, he said: "I hope the conference votes for that motion because we should have absolute zero tolerance when it comes to the quite disgusting and pitiful antisemitism that sadly we're sometimes seeing on social media these days". All groupings in the party should treat one another with respect.
