An engineering student from Hyderabad committed suicide by hanging herself at her residence after posting on Instagram that she was "happy to be afraid" and would "quit this..." It is learnt that Mounika committed suicide after her mother admonished her over her excessive use of smart phones and spending time on social media. She was upset after the exchange. "Nowadays. I am afraid to be happy" was one of the sentences she wrote about her status, the police said. I don't know y ppl dnt want to look at me ven I'm happy in ma life (sic). "Every moment in my life is going so worst.I am just passing out through learning lessons from everything happening my life". She took her life at around 3 pm but her parents noticed the same only at 7.15 pm.
