Mahindra and Mahindra, the popular Indian UV maker, has finally launched the much-awaited facelift of the current generation Scorpio. The facelifted avatar of the SUV gets cosmetic and feature updates along with changes in the power output. Mahindra Scorpio facelift is powered by the 2.2-liter mHawk diesel engine, but now the oil burner comes in two states of tune which is, the existing 120 bhp version and a tuned 140 bhp version. The facelift offers a maximum power of 140 BHP along with a peak torque of 330 Nm. Only the S7 and S11 get the new six-speed gearbox, which uses a new self-adjusting clutch that Mahindra claims will call for lower, consistent effort even towards the end of its lifecycle.
