While the Notre Dame Fighting Irish were getting their asses kicked by the Miami Hurricanes on Saturday, a passel of fans reenacted the scene on the concourse of Miami's stadium near sections 129 and 130. The man with the hat shoves him and someone then splashes him with a drink. While that game was still in process, some (we assume) drunk Notre Dame fans took their school's name a little too much to heart and got into it with Miami fans.
NCAA Grants NC State's Braxton Beverly Eligibility
The school hired attorney Scott Tompsett to work on Beverly's behalf and a request to reconsider the decision was filed last week. It's not immediately clear what the new information was that led the NCAA to reverse course on its decision.
After falling to the ground, the Miami fan gets up and continues to try to throw punches before others step in to break up the fight.
Tech startups fight Senate plan to change how stock options are taxed
Most startups offer stock compensation in addition to salary, doling it out typically over a four-year period. Despite Silicon Valley's early, fierce opposition, however, the idea is still in its infancy.
One of the videos abruptly ends after 40 seconds, when a man wearing a Miami shirt tells one of the other fans in the fight to stop.
Uber in trouble again with class action lawsuits from U.S. riders
Uber, valued at $68 billion, is one of the largest ride-hailing services on the planet, operating in about 70 countries. An Uber spokesperson said: "Uber received this complaint today and we are in the process of reviewing it".
According to the Miami Herald, nobody called 911 and no arrests were made. The U is now a ideal 9-0 after blowing out third-ranked Notre Dame 41-8 on Saturday night, and figures to be in a prime position to make the College Football Playoff if they can reel off a few more wins.
