Stars Align in Nashville for 'Country Rising', Raise $4 Million

Nashville's biggest stars united last night for Country Rising, presented by Hilton and Dollar General, raising more than four million dollars to support charitable initiatives for those affected by the September 2017 hurricanes as well as victims of the recent shooting in Las Vegas. "I love getting up every day and playing music, and I'll be damned if anybody out there will ever stop me from doing that".

Country Rising host Bobby Bones was joined onstage throughout the night by performers Jason Aldean, Dierks Bentley, Sam Hunt, Lady Antebellum, Little Big Town, Martina McBride, Reba McEntire, Chris Stapleton, George Strait, Keith Urban and surprise guest Jon Pardi.

The show kicked off with Lady Antebellum, who paid tribute to the late Tom Petty.

The show was one of togetherness and rallying, as artists like Dierks Bentley performed "Riser" and Chris Stapleton sang "Broken Halos".

George Strait closed the star-studded event with his biggest hits, including "Amarillo By Morning".

The Country Rising all-star concert was born in response to double hurricanes (Harvey and Irma), but additional hurricanes and the shooting at the Route 91 Harvest Festival in Las Vegas forced organizers to expand the scope.
