The High Court of Kerala has granted permission to Malayalam actor Dileep to travel to Dubai regarding his business commitments for four days. Dileep's bail conditions specify he should not travel out of the country and his passport is with the Angamaly court.
Dileep and his partners had chose to open the restaurant in Al Karama, a residential district in Dubai.

Although the Court acknowledged that the charge of influencing witnesses is of a serious nature, it permitted Dileep to go to Dubai, on the condition that he submit the address of the place he will be residing at there, and that he surrender his passport within six days. This was before the court ordered his arrest on July 10 followed by the confiscation of his passport and a bail bond of Rs. 1 lakh to be paid along with two solvent sureties for the like amount. In his plea, Dileep said he has been strictly complying with all the conditions imposed by the High Court. "Petitioner wishes to be in Dubai in connection with the opening of the restaurant "De Puttu" for a period of four days to one week".
The opening of the restaurant in Dubai is tentatively scheduled to be held on November 29.
