A four-year-old boy has been accused of sexually assaulting his classmate with a pencil at a school in Delhi.
According to the woman, her daughter told her that a male classmate opened her trousers and touched her undergarments. The incident happened on Friday and is reported from a renowned school in west Delhi.
The girl began crying and apprised her mother about the incident. On examination, doctors confirmed it to be a case of sexual assault and a police case was registered.
The police is now in dilemma of how to proceed with the case since the suspect is a 4-year-old minor.

Delhi Police chief spokesperson is quoted as telling the Hindustan Times newspaper, "The Indian Penal Code provides children below seven years of age certain protections against prosecution. We are examining those provisions even as we are handling the matter with utmost sensitivity".
The victim's mother told the police that she came to know about the incident on November 17 after the girl shared her ordeal with her on her way back to home from the school.
At first, her mother ignored her cries thinking it was "one of her tantrums", but the following night she told about the alleged assault, which shocked the mother. "The girl then told her mother about the incident", said a senior police officer. The girl tried pushing him away but to no avail, and could not ask for help as no staff member was around.
The victim's mother in her statement said that she had complained about the alleged assault to the schoolteacher through a text message that night.
