Hull City make major managerial announcement as life after Slutsky begins

Hull City have appointed former Southampton and Reading boss Nigel Adkins as their new head coach on an 18-month contract.

Adkins had been out of work since leaving Sheffield United back in May 2016. No use in betting, games or single club/league/player publications.

Saturday's 2-2 draw with Sheffield Wednesday left Hull in 20, just three points above the relegation zone, forcing the club to make a change in the dugout, with Adkins now arriving on an 18-month contract.
