Aina Gets Adkins As New Coach At Hull City

Adkins replaces Slutsky as manager of Irvine's Hull

Hull City have appointed former Southampton and Reading boss Nigel Adkins as their new head coach on an 18-month contract.

Adkins had been out of work since leaving Sheffield United back in May 2016. No use in betting, games or single club/league/player publications.

Saturday's 2-2 draw with Sheffield Wednesday left Hull in 20, just three points above the relegation zone, forcing the club to make a change in the dugout, with Adkins now arriving on an 18-month contract.

GOP state lawmaker suggests Democrat who touched him may be gay
Bradford described Metcalfe's comments as "hateful and homophobic". "The chairman can be volatile", Bradford, D-Montgomery, said. Metcalfe said Bradford has repeatedly touched his shoulder for "months and months", despite Metcalfe's requests that he stop.

The duo will take first-team training this morning, as they prepare Hull for Saturday's clash with Brentford at the KCOM Stadium.

He later signed a three-year deal with Southampton and became the first Saints manager to secure back-to-back promotions - successfully steering the club from League One to the Premier League.

Hull have a testing run of fixtures coming up, which will test Adkins and his coaching staff, with the Tigers in desperate need of results.

No. 2 Kansas handed first defeat of season by Washington
Though it wasn't technically a home game for Kansas , the Jayhawks had won 35 of their last 44 games played at the Sprint Center. Junior guard Lagerald Vick scored a career-high 28 points, but Kansas (7-1) got little offensive help elsewhere.

The Russian is replaced by Adkins, who takes on a full-time managerial role for the first time since being sacked by Sheffield United, then in League One, in May of a year ago.

Adkins joined Reading in 2013 but was sacked at the end of 2014 with the club well adrift of the Championship playoff spots.

This weekend Adkins' Hull are priced at 2/1 to beat 11th-placed Brentford, who have lost just once in 13 games, while they can be backed at 8/1 to go on and finish in the top-half of the table.
