Alec Baldwin isn't happy with the state of late night TV, singling out Last Week Tonight's John Oliver and The Late Show's Stephen Colbert on Wednesday.

The Golden Globe-winning actor's comments come after Oliver on Monday confronted actor Dustin Hoffman over sexual misconduct allegations while at a film festival discussion panel.

Whether or not he's specifically addressing these scenarios, Baldwin thinks these guys aren't being as superficial enough.

Baldwin wrote on Twitter, "Talk shows were once promotional pit stops for some blithe chit chat about movies, etc".

As for why Colbert was included in Baldwin's criticism, well, some suspect the inclusion may have to do with Colbert's many segments covering the #MeToo movement, including asking Ben Affleck about accusations lobbied against him during what would've otherwise been a mere puff promotional interview for Justice League.
