Jack Dylan Grazer to star in "Shazam!"


IT Star Jack Dylan Grazer Joins the Shazam! Movie

Jack Dylan Grazer is reportedly joining New Line's DC Comics film, according to Deadline. Grazer will play Billy's best friend and only other person who knows the truth about Shazam, Freddy Freedman. Created by C.C. Beck and writer Bill Parker, the character was first published by Fawcett Comics.

The film is about Batson, who can transform into an adult superhero by uttering the magic word "Shazam!". The film is being produced by New Line Cinema in conjunction with Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment. The Lights Out and Annabelle: Creation director will step behind the camera with Peter Safran producing.
