Everton may encounter a problem in prising Evans from the Hawthorns in the shape of new Albion manager Alan Pardew who is a keen admirer of the player and tried to sign him when he was in charge at Newcastle United.

"Jonny Evans is definitely one of them and he is our captain". Do I want to lose him?
