TIME may be earning tons of praise for its 2017 Person of the Year cover, highlighting dozens of sexual assault and harassment "silence breakers" and pioneers in the #MeToo movement, but Demi Lovato sees a huge flaw in the magazine's recent issue.
With a hashtag, she calls the publication hypocritical for honoring the "brave women coming forward against sexual assault" by then naming a man "with sexual assault allegations against him" as runner-up.
TIME has been dishing out that title since 1927 to a person or group of people the editors believe influenced news and events of the past year for "better or worse".

Other runners-up in the Time list included Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins and activist National Football League star Colin Kaepernick.
"I've become less vocal about my disdain for certain people over the past year because it only divides our country even more, but this is worth speaking up about", she added.
