Amid toughening stand of United States with regards to the terror havens in Pakistan, the Pakistan Air Force on Thursday said it will shoot down any drone sighted in its airspace, including those of the United States.
The announcement comes shortly after a U.S. drone strike targeted the de facto border between Pakistan and Afghanistan on 30 November this year, killing three militants. Pakistan has, on several occasions, protested entry of drones into its own airspace but has also reportedly given a quiet consent on other occasions. "I have ordered PAF to shoot down drones, including those of the US", Aman was quoted as saying in the report.
