Oklahoma City Thunder forward Paul George will not play Thursday against the Brooklyn Nets, according to The Oklahoman's Brett Dawson.

It will be the first game George has missed since joining the Thunder in an offseason trade from the Indiana Pacers.

And more on his speed: Since 2014, Gordon leads all players in triples with 35 while ranking second in stolen bases with 212. The Mariner are taking on all of Gordon's salary, according to multiple reports.

George is suffering from a right calf contusion, having his calf wrapped in ice after the game against the Utah Jazz, while Grant is ailing from a left hip contusion, which should have them sidelined for today's worldwide regular season game.

Over 37.1 minutes, George has averaged 20.7 points, 5.8 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 2.5 steals a game.
