Russian Federation removed all of its diplomatic personnel from Yemen and has temporarily shut its embassy there, the country's Foreign Ministry announced on Tuesday.
"Taking into account the situation in Sanaa, a decision was made to temporarily suspend the Russian diplomatic presence in Yemen", Zakharova was quoted as saying by Russia's official TASS news agency.

According to the United Nations, the blockade of the Yemeni port by coalition forces led by Saudi Arabia continues and leads to a lack of "fuel, food and medicine, significantly increasing the number of people in need who need help".
