Sami Khedira urges Juventus to sign Emre Can from Liverpool

Juventus target Emre Can has ruled out a January move away from Liverpool by airing a desire to win a trophy with the club.

The 23-year-old Reds midfielder is out of contract in six months and the Italian champions are said to hold a strong interest in signing the Germany global to bolster their squad.

With Can yet to agree fresh terms at Anfield and able to leave on a free transfer this summer, Khedira has urged his club to do whatever they can to sign the player to further strengthen a Juventus side that now sit second in the Italian Serie A league table behind Napoli.

Can has now suggested that he will wait until the end of the season before making a decision on his future, with his intention to help Liverpool end their wait for major silverware and leave on a high.

Although Khedira admits Can has room to improve, he acknowledges the ability and potential his global teammate could offer the Old Lady.

"And if there is a possibility that Juventus can sign this player you have to use this chance because I think he is a free agent in the summer period. He'll be free from his contract".

The Old Lady's star Sami Khedira has talked to Sky Sport to share his thoughts on the current campaign in Serie A and Champions League: "This season will be different", the Germany star said.
