The Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN) has raised the alarm over an alleged false information that their spiritual leader, Sheikh El-Zakzaky is dead, saying the malicious information was meant to break its will and cause confusion, thereby allowing miscreants to seize the opportunity to turn their peaceful protests into violence.
El-Zakzaky spoke to journalists in a brief interaction at a Safe Facility of DSS in Abuja. The rumour was denied by his lawyer, Femi Falana.
Sheik El-Zakzaky: I am feel better, the security (officers) have allowed me to see my doctor, my personal doctor. Before I used to be examined by security doctors, this time I did not agree, and my own doctors came to examine me.
