Oklahoma mother, Juanita Gomez was found guilty of first-degree murder on Thursday and is facing life in prison without parole for killing her daughter Geneva Gomez back in 2016.

The Associated Press reports that fifty-one-year-old Juanita Gomez was found guilty of first-degree murder for fatally shoving a crucifix and medallion down her daughter's throat. That day, the victim was found by her boyfriend inside her mother's house.
