Penguins' Sidney Crosby nets 400th goal

Pittsburgh Penguins captain Sidney Crosby scored his 400th career goal early in the second period against the St. Louis Blues on Monday.

Bryan Rust broke a tie with a third-period goal, and Riley Sheahan also added an insurance marker for the Penguins, who have won 12 of their past 17.

Goalie Matt Murray made 33 saves for the Penguins. Crosby becomes the 25th player in National Hockey League history to have 400 goals and 650 assists. Crosby muscled a shot past goalie Jake Allen from the left side of the net at 3:31.
