A Japanese and an American astronaut floated outside the International Space Station today on a spacewalk to fix the orbiting outposts robotic arm and move some equipment into storage. It is Norishige Kanai of Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency and Mark Vande Hei of NASA who are now aboard the International Space Station (ISS) orbiting the Earth at the altitude of 408 km.

Two astronauts will venture outside the International Space Station (ISS) on Friday for a planned six-and-a-half hour spacewalk, NASA has said.
