According to the current Met Éireann forecast, St Patrick's weekend is set to be very cold with snow also on the horizon!
Top temperatures in some areas at the weekend will be around 1° C to 2° C in the north and east of the country, while it will be milder in west and south west coasts with highs of 5° C to 6° C. Wind speeds are forecast to gust up to 90 to 100 km/h in places across Leinster.
There are two Status Yellow Warnings in place this morning from Met Eireann for strong winds and rain.
