Kellyanne Conway is Concerned About a Self-Centered Liar Hogging the Spotlight

Updated | White House adviser Kellyanne Conway said former Federal Bureau of Investigation director James Comey swung the election in favor of President Donald Trump-a comment at odds with earlier statements made by Conway and the Trump campaign.

"This guy swung an election", Conway told Stephanopoulos on "Good Morning America" Monday, while derisively rattling off a list of Comey's various misdeeds in government.

Conway went on to say that Comey "struggled to answer basic questions", that he's giving "a revisionist version of history", (and, of course that Trump "hardly knew the man").

She tried to walk the comment back in a later appearance on CNN, telling Chris Cuomo that Clinton was already set to lose the election and that Comey's announcement had no bearing on her doomed campaign.

Conway on "GMA" also excoriated Comey as a publicity hound who is merely trying to promote his book, "A Higher Loyalty, that is to be released Tuesday".
