Comey sat down with ABC's George Stephanopoulos for a 20/20 episode, his first television appearance kicking off a media blitz for the release of his autobiography A Higher Loyalty: Truth, Lies, and Leadership. Comey is doing a string of interviews to push A Higher Loyalty: Truth, Lies, and Leadership, which he wrote after he was sacked by President Trump a year ago.
