Edmond, Okla. - (KOCO) Former Niceville High and University of Oklahoma football player Roy Finch was arrested over the weekend after he resisted arrest and assaulted police officers, police say.
The report said the police were called to an apartment complex in Edmond after a caller said a auto had been parked and running for more than an hour.
However, they say he continued to resist the officers.
Police were called to check on a vehicle that had been left running in a parking lot of an apartment complex for more than an hour, according to a narrative by Edmond Police, and officers discovered Finch inside the vehicle around 6:30 a.m. A scuffle ensued, and officers say Finch managed to break free and ran southeast of the complex.
